I came to thier office compeltely clueless, and they gave me the information about this industry that i needed. Places charge you thousands upfront, and they take a precentage of what you make if you even land anything. this place didnt require thousands of dollars to get started. Thats the problem with people they think it all comes so easily, this industry can replace you at any moment. So just because you look good, dosent mean you get to walk in and boom free representaion and free classes, and next day your famous. It dont work like that

Nine9 - Modeling Service Review from Richardson, Texas

Worst experience ever. This place is a total scam. I'm pretty sure there is something more illegal going on at this place.

Nine9 Modeling Service Review from Woodbridge, New Jersey

I got this weird email a couple days ago from this "unagency" (what they call themselves) I'm not sure if they had one source talent as a name before but it seems like it. Anyway, so I get an email...with my name!

Immediately I'm wondering who this person is who stayed that her name was Roxanne from nine9 and how she reviewed my application and wants to meet face to face. Uh, I never signed up to this place so I'm really confused as how she even goty name and email. I even went to the companies website and it looked legit but I went on reedit and everyone was saying how it's all a scam! And to think I was going to call to ask questions and actually go and check it out!

Only because I've always wanted to be in the industry and I've done some modeling before but this is a no for me.... Oh and I learned from Kimora Lee Simmons that you should never have to pay to be a model! If they want you to pay its a scam!!

Thanks Kimora. I really wish these scammers would stop doing this to people who want to make a career for themselves in this industry.

Nine9 TheUnAgency was called One Source Talent

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Nine9 The UnAgency was called One Source Talent but changed their name. I like the new name and the new logo.

The staff are all very friendly, I like going to their office. They started providing free workshops and classes. These have been very helpful. I get castings here and there, and it's enough to keep me busy.

So overall, I think it's been a good change. I understand they are now about the 99% not just the 1%. Makes a lot of sense to me.

I really like them now. Definitely happy I joined Nine9!

I am suppose to have an interview with them tomorrow by phone and have a question...If they are an agency, why are they charging money up front? I have been told a true agency never asks for money, it comes out of your check when you get paid. New to this and want to know if they are a scam or if this is how most agencies work now....

Nine9 scam never go there ever never

nine9 asked for $550 upfront with no paperwork and then had the never to say that it was going to be $294 but turned out to be $550 and they "look" for new faces every saturday all they want is your money and they are a fake company i will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE EVER IN MY LIFE. and they dont look for new talent and they are going ti charge more and more if you actually make it there so i am warning you never go there in your lives cause they are fake and really phony.

I have an appointment for next Tuesday, I am very concerned. My brother attended an open call for a similar company in northern new jersey and it's just sounds like they're trying to get money upfront without guaranteeing anything. I'm nervous, I'm a college graduate with loans I'd rather a agency tell me that I'm not the right fit than to take my money and I never actually make it back..especially considering the fact that I'm a curvy girl, and I already know how the industry can be to us

My daughter is 11!!!! They were so unprofessional RED FLAG!!!

Nine9 the unagency- My daughter contacted them. She is 11. With dreams of acting and a bunch of talent. So her drive and ambition she took it upon herself to contact these people and fill out an application they had online. She did receive an e-mail back saying they had two slots available for her. And to pick the best time. Ms.White ask my 11 year old to e- mail her back with the time that works best for her. Atlanta is a 2 hour drive from where we live. !!!! RED FLAG number one!!! My daughter walks fast and is in track, but I do not think a lagitamate agancy would see how old my daughter is on the application she filled out, and not try and involve me. An adult, her parent. I am also her ride for the next 4/5 years. How unprofessional that's what brought me to see who else has had dealings with this scam. Thank you for posting. Now my whole Saturday is free and my baby don't have to get her poor little hopes up while they try and milk me for my hard earned money. Question? (Any one?) Where should my daughter start? To avoid this madness...I think this mommy here, should start taking my big girl seriously she seems real serious. And I don't see her quitting at all. Her mind is made, But it's our jobs as parents to guide them and protect them. mommy is clueless on where to guide her. So if you Or anyone has a solution to the problem of the dream scam that would be so much help. EVEN THOUGH I do have common sense and that red flag told me enough to know it couldn't be lagit business. I am now faced with the questions If not there, then where? Thanks again for sharing your story, and sorry for them wasting your time, so others like us wouldn't have to.

Nine9 Appointment Review from Belchertown, Massachusetts

Nine9 Modeing and acting is from the same people at One Source talent. They post ads for jobs online and bait you into coming into their office. They tell you it is free on the phone. The catch is the open call appointment where you sit in a big room is free - but then they have you meet with someone and tell you to come back the next day because they love they way you look. They charge you $149 plus $40 per month. Nine 9 talent reps then have the nerve you tell you to come back and pay for a photo shoot that is over $500. All they want is your credit card. Maybe they changed the name because they had a big lawsuit in California recently. Just look up One Source talent if you want to know the truth about nine 9.
